The hand crank will turn the engine over and the kill switch in the middle does stop the engine again. A Zenith p3 Carburator close the same as the BMW 600 unit with a hand control throttle linkage are being used. Also the help of a RPM limiter the engine will peak around 3600 rpm. Way less than the Isetta which is a good thing for the motor.
The flywheel is almost the same as the isetta.
The "S" and "O/T" markings are the same only the Advance marking has to be marked onto the flywheel. These flywheels are balanced and are coated with grease

There is NO Isetta engine number on the timing chain cover therefore if you wish you can add your OWN car number to the cover to have it matching again!!

This 1960 long bloc engine has 297 cc and has a output of 7 HP at 3600 rpm the speed the engine will run under max load.
Taken the rpm limiter out the engine will perform like an Isetta engine as longest you install the Bing carb and a Isetta camshaft.
Some of these engine received a dome piston which raised the compresseion from 7.2
The Zenith carb can be used for the BMW 600 as longest the accl pump has been installed and the jets and linkages were changed over
